All the ways to watch the 2024 Paris Olympics: TV and stream info, schedule (2025)

There is no sporting event in the world (or any other) quite like the Olympic Games. And with 39 sports, 329 events and over 10,000 athletes, even the most dedicated Olympic superfan might need guidance on how to watch everything, from the first group stage soccer match to the final moments of the Closing Ceremony.

So how will YOU watch in 2024 once the Olympic flame is burning bright in Paris? Read on for our guide to all the options across TV, streaming and social.

First things first: competition starts on Wednesday, July 24 and ends on Sunday, August 11.

You might be thinking to yourself, “Hold up! That seems a little long — aren’t the Olympics around two weeks long?”

You aren’t wrong. There are 16 days of competition betweenthe Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 26 and Closing Ceremony on Sunday, August 11. However, the Olympic schedule is so jam-packed that some sports (soccer, rugby) hold preliminary competitions a day or two prior to the Opening Ceremony, on July 24 and July 25.

If figuring out what's going on when and how to watch seems a little tricky, head on over to the NBCOlympics.com schedule page. There you'll find an easy-to-use, intuitive guide that will help even the most seasoned Olympic viewernavigate the thousands of hours of Olympic coverage. The schedule can be filtered by sport, event, top athletes and topics like Must See, Team USA, Top Stars and Medal Events. There's also a toggle at the top to indicate whether you'd like to see schedule info for "TV & Digital" or "TV Only."

And to make the NBCOlympics.com schedule even more valuable, fans will also be able to use it to access scores, stats, standings, team rosters, medal counts, you name it!

Starting on July 24, for 19 days there will be more must-see, can’t-miss, holy-$&@!-did-you-see-that moments than you’ll know what to do with. And all of them will be streaming LIVE on phone, tablet and connected TV devices via Peacock, NBCOlympics.com, the NBC app and the NBC Olympics app.

How to stream the Olympics on Peacock: After subscribing and logging in, either go to PeacockTV.com/Olympics in your web browser or download the Peacock app and navigate to the Olympics section.

How to stream the Olympics on NBC Olympics digital platforms: Users can also authenticate with their cable subscription, which allows them to watch live streams of every Olympic event on NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com, the NBC app or the NBC Olympics app. All streams can be viewed in your web browser or on your phone, tablet or connected TV device.

Cable, satellite or even classic over-the-air audiences will be able to easily find Olympic programming on TV. On each day of the Olympics NBC will have, at minimum, nine hours of live event coverage starting each morning and continuing on through the afternoon.

In the evening, come back to NBC for Primetime in Paris, when the raw emotion of the Olympics will be enhanced through a mix of exhilarating competition, up-close and intimate Olympic moments and unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the athletes and their families. Coverage continues after local news with the late night show, hosted by NBC sportscaster Maria Taylor, who will present a fresh look at the day's events from various hot spots around Paris.

The talent roster for NBCUniversal's Olympics coverage is packed with over 150 names that include notable NBC commentators, Olympians and some of your favorite celebrities, who will make appearances across all of NBCUniversal's platforms, including NBC, Peacock, USA Network, CNBC, E!, GOLF Channel, Telemundo, Universo and all of NBC Olympics' digital platforms.

Sunday Night Football commentator Mike Tirico is back for his fifth Olympics, hosting the primetime show and both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. At the Opening Ceremony, Tirico will be joined by singer and TV personality Kelly Clarkson, football great Peyton Manning and TODAY Show hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb. Tirico and Jimmy Fallon will host the Closing Ceremony with help from Terry Gannon, Tara Lipinksi and Johnny Weir, the iconic voices behind NBC's figure skating coverage.

Snoop Dogg, Leslie Jones, Steve Kornacki, Alex Cooper, Kevin Hart, Kenan Thompson, Scott Hanson and Michael Phelps are just a few of the other names set to appear on NBC and Peacock at various points throughout the Paris Olympics.

Gold Zone, a new, all-inclusive program hosted by NFL RedZone's Scott Hanson, will stream live on Peacock from 7a - 5p ET every day of the 2024 Paris Olympics starting on Saturday, July 27.

Like NFL RedZone, Gold Zone will feature comprehensive whip-around coverage of the best and most compelling moments happening in any sport at any time — even when there are up to 40 events happening at once — at the hands of Hanson, fellow RedZone host Andrew Siciliano and American Ninja Warrior commentators Matt Iseman and Jac Collinsworth.
