It’s a go! $14 million manufacturing plant Elite Harness opens in Wellington
August 14, 2024 Cueball
By Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — Elite Harness has officially arrived in Wellington.
In one of Wellington’s most dynamic, well-planned ribbon cuttings in memory, Elite Harness officially opened its doors to business at 1515 N. A, the former TECT building, yesterday afternoon.
A misty-eyed Nathan Smith, President of Elite Harness, picked up the Chamber scissors and made the ribbon cut with the following statement:
“We did a lot to get here. Being a part in Wellington is important to us. We don’t want to be just a company in Wellington, we want to be a part of the community. We will be participating in as much as we can. Special thanks to Sumner County Economic Development Commission Director Stacy Davis. Special thanks to the city of Wellington for helping us. It is an absolute honor to be here.”
